Cancellation & Refund Policy

Clear rules for cancelling bookings and receiving refunds on FlashIt Repair.

Overview

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains when you can cancel a booking without charge, when refunds are available, and how refunds are processed for repairs booked through FlashIt Repair Inc.

This policy supplements our Terms of Service and applies to customer bookings placed through the FlashIt platform.

Free cancellation before repair starts

You may cancel your booking at no charge at any time before the Partner Shop marks your repair as “In Progress” in the FlashIt system.

To cancel, use the manage-booking link in your confirmation email, your customer account, or contact the shop directly and ensure the booking status is updated.

No refund once repair is in progress

After a Partner Shop marks your repair as In Progress, cancellation does not entitle you to a refund. At that stage, parts may have been ordered, opened, or installed, and labour may already have been performed.

If you decline an approved quote before work begins, you are responsible only for any disclosed diagnostic fees communicated by the shop before work starts.

When FlashIt issues a full refund

If a Partner Shop cannot complete your repair for any reason attributable to the shop (for example, missing parts after reasonable effort, inability to perform the agreed service, or shop closure), FlashIt will issue a full refund of amounts charged for that booking.

Full refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

How refunds are processed

Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the credit to appear on your statement.

Partial refunds may apply only when explicitly agreed in writing (email or in-app message) between you, the shop, and FlashIt support.

Warranty repairs

Warranty service for a previously completed repair is handled under our 12-Month Warranty policy and is not a monetary refund unless we determine a refund is the appropriate remedy.

Disputes and chargebacks

If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@flashitrepair.com with your booking reference number before initiating a chargeback. We will investigate promptly.

Chargebacks filed without contacting us first may delay resolution and may affect your ability to book future appointments while the dispute is open.
